Special issue information:
In recent years, a sequence of profound and interconnected disruptions, encompassing the COVID-19 pandemic, the Russia-Ukraine conflict, the global food and energy crises, and the pressing climate emergency, have exerted a transformative influence on the global economic landscape. The growth momentum of advanced economies such as the United States and the European Union, has experienced a discernible abatement, eliciting cascading repercussions upon the broader spectrum of global economies. International cooperation has never been more important than now to address various global crises and bring the economy back on track. In view of the paramountcy of these developments, it becomes imperative for all constituents of the global community to amplify their collaborative endeavors, thereby efficaciously confronting the manifold challenges while harnessing the latent opportunities engendered by the emergent global economic order.
With this background, the Institute of International Economic Cooperation (IIEC), College of Business, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics (SUFE), and Journal of International Money and Finance (JIMF) will hold the conference on economic globalization and regional cooperation. Scholars worldwide are invited to submit their research to this conference and selected papers will be considered for publication in a special issue of the JIMF.
